England wins the toss and opts to bat in the five-match Test against India at The Oval Ground here on Friday. England is leading the series 3-1 up in five-match test series. India will play the fifth test against England for pride after going down in the fourth test.
England team has made only one change, Bairstow has replaced Jos Buttler. On the other hand team India has made few changes, Ravichandran Ashwin is not playing the game due to injury, Ravindra Jadeja takes his place in Playing XI. Hardik Pandya makes way for Hanuma Vihari to make his test debut
Vice Captain, Ajinkya Rahane seems to be quite positive for the fifth and final. In the recent media interaction he said, "Every game equally importantly, we want to give our best and end on a winning note. It's true England players better than us and won sessions that made the difference but we want to go back on high."
Alastair Cook will play his last test at The Oval as he will be retiring from the test matches.
