Sonam K Ahuja has announced the movie name ‘The Zoya Factor’ that will star herself and Dulquer Salman in the leading roles. She will soon start the shoot for the film. The film is an adaptation from the book with the same name ‘The Zoya Factor’ written by Anuja Chauhan.
Now we got an interesting detail about the film and couldn’t help but share with you all.
As per the reports in The Times of India, Sonam Kapoor’s uncle, Sanjay Kapoor will also be part of the movie. Sanjay Kapoor will be playing Sonam’s father in the movie and the news has been confirmed by the actor himself.
When asked about the rumours to Sanjay, he confirmed by saying, "I received a call from the producer when I was in New York. Later, director Abhishek Sharma called me up to give me a gist of the story and discuss my part."
He further spoke, "I was waiting for a good film to come my way and this just seems perfect."
Sanjay further shared his immense excitement about the movie by saying, "Besides Mubarakan (which featured his brother Anil Kapoor and nephew Arjun Kapoor), I haven’t worked with my family in any film. So, it’s an exciting opportunity for me to act alongside Sonam. We have started the reading sessions and I can’t wait to commence the shoot. We are a close-knit khandaan and Sonam has grown up in front of my eyes. She is like my daughter, and there’s nothing better than working with your own family."
Sonam K Ahuja is lined up with a great set of movies but one of the things we are seeing from her is, now she is doing films which involves her family in some or the other way. Not that it’s a complain, infact, she is finally understanding her niche and working towards developing that.
