Some people think that heartbreaks are overrated and that people make a big deal out of it, hype it for no reason. It is truly said that when the ball is no longer in your court, the fear of losing creeps in, makes you vulnerable. That anxiety in their voice, that horrendous fixation. We have all been through that somehow everyone manages to sail through it at some point in their lives. Only some unfortunate souls who have confided themselves hopelessly to someone despite of knowing that it’ll never be theirs, know how facile it makes you feel. Anyway, alike break ups, moving on from someone is as overrated as breaking up. Looking for that one face in everyone else, trying to re create the same magic that once left us enchanted. To be precise, we have made our lives so distractingly dependent on people that we forget to work upon ours.
In the end, nothing else matters, but you. So instead of placing our happiness in some else, we let these mongers feed off from our energy pool. A few people disregard about how utterly nonsense self help books are and never could read one. Cause honestly, nobody can judge you better than you yourself. It might take a moment to fall in love (as they say) with someone else but it takes an eternity to forget them. The scars never heal; they just keep reminding you that the past is real. However, this should never compel anyone to dwell in that melancholy forever.
Instead, lets all learn to put ourselves first at the pedestal instead of trying to carve a niche for someone else. The sad reality is there is nothing like unconditional love. It’s a myth. And as lord Buddha said, attachment is the root of all sufferings. Attachment kills you, makes you feeble and susceptible to utter load of crap that people give you. Anyway, the point is that instead of waiting for people to screw you over, make yourself rock solid opaque to not let anyone transgress your soul. It’s a big world and there are many fishes in the sea. You just got to find that one fish to swim along. And let’s not forget how the famous khalil Gibran put that in the most amazing possible way here
“Let there be spaces in your togetherness. And let the winds of the heavens dance between you…” You are important. So read that book you always wanted to. Visit machu pichchu. And show everyone that how valuable Elle woods can be.
