Directed by Patrick Graham, the series will star Radhika Apte, Manav Kaul, Ratnabali Bhattacharjee, Mahesh Balraj and Mallhar Goenka.
On September 3, 2014 Blumhouse Productions, Phantom Films and Ivanhoe Pictures announced an amazing partnership deal to create horror films and shows in local language of India. ‘Ghoul’ will be their first venture together and we are superbly excited.
The trailer begins by announcing ‘From the makers of Insidious, Get Out and Udta Punjab’, so you know what you are going to experience. Earlier, this was going to be made as a film but Netflix saw the potential and acquired the film to convert it into a three part series.
The Youtube page of Netflix describes the ‘Ghoul’ by describing it “is a chilling series about a prisoner who arrives at a remote military interrogation centre and turns the tables on his interrogators, exposing their most shameful secrets. You can fight the demons of this world but what about the ones that aren't?”
