Just after Jahnvi Kapoor made her debut on the cover of Vogue India, it is Suhana Khan’s turn to make her magazine cover debut and starting directly from Vogue. Her appearance on the Vogue India has raised questions on the reason that made the young girl featured on such a big platform. The answer is just a few simple words, her ‘father’!
If an on-stage drama could get someone to such a big level then it would take decades for Suhana Khan to make herself feature there.
Anyway, it is up to the reader’s discretion to decide if she was eligible to make her appearance on Vogue India. Let us read what the young girl said in her first interview with Vogue.
Suhana talked about wanting to be an actor since childhood and the road ahead. She said, “I absolutely loved shooting this cover. Especially the dancing shots. I love dancing. It was so much fun. I was excited when my parents brought it up. I wanted to say yes straight away, but they wanted me to think about it — this is a very public thing. They wanted me to gain confidence from the experience, not lose it,”
Suhana next talked about her priority to complete her school and get into a good university. She said, “There’s so much to learn, and one way to do it is to start (working) early, but first I want to go to university and finish studies,”
She told the magazine about when she decided to be an actress. Here is what she said, “I don’t think there was any one moment when I decided. Since I was young, I’d do all these accents and impressions. But my parents only realised I was serious about acting when they saw a performance of mine for the first time. I was playing Miranda in a school performance of The Tempest.”
Shah Rukh Khan said that he won’t launch his children in Bollywood but they will get work on the basis on their talents. This is what he said on Suhana being an actress. “Suhana’s not working towards a promise of being cast, she’s working towards being an actor, and she knows that. I keep insisting that I don’t want them designed as stars, I want them to be launched when they are good-enough actors,” he adds.
