Everybody is talking about Fanney Khan ever since the film and the cast was announced. We are excited to see Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anil Kapoor back on screen together after 17 years. Also, we have Rajkumar Rao with these two stars and that is one more reason that we can’t wait for this movie.

This film expected to be a musical comedy and the trailer of the movie has made us believe that it is going to take us on a roller-coaster ride. The movie is a remake of a Belgian movie Everybody’s Famous! The movie revolves around a father who always dreamt to become a singer but couldn’t and now he wants to complete his dream by making his daughter a singer.

The film also sheds light on the topic of body shaming in our society. A lot of our celebrities have also faced this issue and this was the prime reason why Aishwarya Rai took this movie.
Bollywood actors often have to go through a lot of body transition for movies. Sometimes they have to shed off some weight while sometimes they have to gain extra weight. This process can be very difficult. Remember how Aamir Khan went through a transformation for Dangal. Pihu Sand who is playing the daughter of Anil Kapoor in this movie also had to gain 20 Kgs for her role.

Pihu Sand opened up about her weight gain for the movie:
“I had to put on another 20 kg in six months for the role and the prep included planning Lata’s look, makeup and even her haircut. The fringe is an important part of the character.”

According to a leading daily, Pihu almost gained up to 90kgs for her role which is the heaviest she has ever been.
“Being fat was lovely because I am not shy about my body and everybody made me comfortable. Yes, I did have some health issues, but it was worth it because it was for something I love.”

She also disclosed how she could relate to her character in the movie:
“I was fat because of a medical condition. I gained weight after 12 years and I still don’t understand why being fat or thin is not okay. I connected with Lata because a few similar things happened to me in real life too.”
