#MeToo movement has gone to the next level and everyday new names are coming out in the Bollywood. This time it is filmmaker and director Sajid Khan who have been accused sexual harassment by three women. After this Sajid Khan has stepped down as the director of Housefull 4.
At least two actresses and a female journalist talked about their unpleasant experiences with Sajid on social media.
Actor Saloni Chopra shared her story on medium and talked about how Sajid Khan harassed her.
In response, Sajid wrote on Twitter: "In the wake of the allegations against me and the pressure being put on my family, my producer and the stars of my film 'Houseful4', I must take the moral responsibility of stepping down from my directorial post, till the time I can allay the allegations and prove the truth... I request my friends in the media to kindly not pass judgment till the truth is out."
The film "Housefull 4" also features Nana Patekar, who has also been accused of sexual harassment by actress Tanushree Dutta. It was after Tanushree Dutta’s statement after almost 10 years that gave the women that have been harassed at workplace. This made start the #Metoo movement in India. It seems that this movement is not going to stop anytime soon.
Akshay Kumar, who was also the part of "Housefull 4", has called off the film's shooting until "further investigation".
It was then Twinkle Khanna who came forward to speak about the incident and urged the members of Housefull to take a firm stand on the issue.
Now we have to wait and watch that famous Bollywood celeb would speak on this matter or not.
