#MeToo Movement has started in India and actor Rajat Kapoor, AIB faces Tanmay Bhatt and Gurusimran Khamba have faced allegations of sexual harassment. This movement has left people shocked and revealed the inside story of the entertainment industry, however, there are people who are describing this movement as a wrong practice. Ruling party BJP’s MP Udit Raj on Tuesday showed his support to Nana Patekar and on the other hand questioned actress Tanushree Dutta for speaking about the incident after a decade.
"The #MeToo campaign is necessary but what is the meaning of accusing someone of sexual harassment after 10 years? After years how can it be possible to verify the facts of the events?
"It must also be considered that it can ruin the image of the person who has been accused. It is the beginning of a wrong practice," the Bharatiya Janata Party (MP) from northwest Delhi tweeted in Hindi.

His remarks came after Tanushree in an interview in September, in the context of the #MeToo Movement and sexual harassment of women in Bollywood, spoke out of her personal experience at the hands of Nana Patekar on the set of "Horn 'OK' Pleassss" in 2008.
The reaction came after Tanushree Dutta spoke about her experience in an interview and how she faced sexual harassment in 2008 during the shoot of film Horn Ok Please. She also supported the #MeToo movement as it will reveal more faces in the industry. Tanushree Dutta has also filed a written complaint on the same at the Oshiwara police station.
Though it was a big blow for the Bollywood industry when this news broke out in 2008 too, however Nana held a press conference to dismiss the allegations.
Last week, when Nana was questioned for the same, he said he had answered the questions 10 years ago. "Jhooth toh jhooth hi hai (a lie is a lie)," Nana said.
